words of wisdom from my 1970 yearbook

Steve, I am glad I got to know you this school year. I hope we can remain friends. See ya at TASTEE! Good luck. Love, Linda Lohman '71' Senior (almost)

Steve, You really are a quick wit if I've ever seen one. Didn't we have fun in Civics? Take it easy over the summer and see ya at J.C. Bryan Baldwin

WELL... Steve, we've had a great time in Bible this year, but better times to be had this summer at Tastee. Maybe we'll have more ketchup fights a little later. Later, Dave Lacko

Steve, To the great volleyball player. It's been great knowing you this year if only for a short time. Good luck next year. Have fun this summer. Love, Linda Cook "71"

Steve, "That spells trouble" [referring to a cartoon picture of a Volkswagen bug drawn by Dean]. Well, this year has really been shot down the tube. I feel that without your help, I wouldn't have passed Physics or Civics, (that is I might). Hope to see ya at F.J.C. (Fullerton Junior College) next year driving your ultimate 36 hp Volkswagon, running strong 15's at approximately 45 mph m/sec2. Look out Dean Lowery!  Love and Kisses, deano "the snail" (Dean Kirsten)

Steve - Finally school is out. I didn't think it would ever come. I'm sorry I can't draw anything like you do, but all I can say is have a great summer. Your friend, Larry (Miller) Porsche!!

Steve - Well, we're finally out of Sonora and these past years have been really a lot of laughs especially in Graphic Arts. I sure admire your "sun through the gate through the tennis racket" shots. Photography rules!!!  Good luck in the future. Dick Gude

Steve, it's been a really ---------- year but its people like you that make it.... worse. Let's start a VW rally, I'll be No. 1 and you can be No. 2. If that doesn't work, we'll set up a stand on a truck and have your mother make a speech down Whittier Blvd. I won't go any farther because I'll see ya in the summer and I want to be on good terms. Love, James Alan Gilliland I.N.C.

Well, if it isn't good ole Steve Weidemann. Sure been a swell time here at Sonora with ya all these years. Still never raced you and your VW with my bike. Well anyway, I sure do hope you have a swell time once ya get out of Sonora. Take it easy and make lots of money and luv. George Gardner

See... I told you I could high jump. Gary Dryden

Steve - Well I think we've been thru a lot these past four years, four consecutive years of Clayton (oh, and did you remember your pencil?) It's been great razing him, EB and Stichter. Hope you see you this summer. Dave (Wyatt)

Steve - I didn't get to know you very well; it would have been fun though if I had for you were the life of the Civics class. Keep with the jokes and pear people. Nancy Crow

Friend Steve, It has been a pleasure eating lunch at the planter this "annum". What nonsense can I say but hope to see you this summer and next summer. Chopper bikes for ever a while. Best wishes to a nice guy from a nicer guy. Tom Bishow

Steve: Through the past four years, your love life has been quite exciting so I decided to get a couple of my close associates together and write a little poem for you. Well, here it is, complete and unabridged. Hope you like it.  "Love is old, love is new, love is all, love is you.  (Lennon, McCartney)"  Have a lot of fun this summer, hope to see you this summer, write to me when you get a chance. Maybe we can arrange to see one another this summer. Hope so until our paths cross again in the everlasting road of life, Good bye old buddy, Pal. Take care of yourself. Skot Romaine.

Steve, It was really a lot of fun being on team #5 in volleyball. We had some good laughs about how each of us played but never forget Lunette! Good luck always, Luv, Debbie DeHoff '71

Howdy, Steve. As one of the undersigned, I salute you. Stay as you are? Yes, a whatever. Sincerely, I am not Mac Yates. Oh you know. No. I don't.

Steve Darling - This year has been great knowing you. I hope I get the job at Tastee so we can become better friends. Good luck in the future. Kem Bennett '71

Steve darling - I don't know how Bennett feels about it but couldn't care less if you get the lousy job or not. Unless, of course, you could get me a discount or something in which case I hope you do. May your life be free of ebbulations for ever more. Gary Dryden.
