words of wisdom from my 1969 yearbook

Say Hey! Steve. Well we're finally outta this-here "place" for almost two weeks till we go to photog. Have fun anyway, 'n be kind to Julian Mendoza cause he works in a huevos factory ;n has poor hours. Bad Bob Walter 70

Steve (Roscoe P.) In-A-Gadda-DaVida!! What do you say Steve. It's been pretty good this year and we'll only be back for 1 more. Don't throw any tantrums like Hem. & don't be as tight as Creedence. See you next year. The Beef (John Adams)

-Steve- It's been a lot of fun being in your classes. Arch was the best class specially with J.C. I hope you succeed with all your plans. Gary (Smith)

Steve - Great being in History with you. We had a good time, even with Mr. Kurcschat with us. See you next year when we'll be seniors. I bet I beat you in History the last quarter! Ron Medve

One year gone! How nice it was to sit by you during test periods and how great you were not to cover your paper. Your lab manual also came in handy, Not only did we suffer through Mr. Laube but we also suffered through our teacher, Nick. Maybe we'll be together in the same physics class and you will again help me to attain a B. Remember, Jim Shields

Steve - You're a real bitchen guy and I wish you the best and most of luck with your architectural career if you decide to stick with it and I think you should. Lots of luck always, Dann Tackett "70"

I don't really know what to say to you even though you were in two of my classes or was I in two of yours? Good luck. No love or feelings. Don White

Steve! What can I say? You and your dirty ____ing old mouth are a disgrace to everything. Have a good _____ing time this summer, or should I say a ____ing good time. Oh! How crude! I'll see you next year, that is if you don't get censored by CBS. Take it easy. Chris (Topik)  [don't look at the tennis picture]

The Dirty Half dozen was probably the most ridiculous group anyone could get mixed up with, especially with someone like you. Can't wait to miss your sister. David Wellens p.s. Hendrix forever

Steve, Hasn't this been a great History class! We couldn't do without it now, could we! Have lots of fun this summer and I'll see you next year. Love and luck, Coni

Steve - I didn't get to talk to you much this year, but I think your a really "kool" guy. Don't ever change. I wish you all the luck from here on. Good luck and be good. Love ya - Jeanne -70-

S is for your sex craved mind. H is for the heat you're always in. I is for the ignorance you display. T is for the times you've spent with yates. J.W. (John Wallis)

Steve, to a fellow member of the dirty half dozen, I say peace be with you always. MAZ

Steve, Drafting has been fun or has it? I really am beginning to worry about Clayton - he hasn't broke yet! 3 years and no signs of breakage! Next year will be the year. The responsibilty is left on Arch II students. We must'nt fail!! We shall over come. Dean Kirsten

Steve, School wsa not at all what I thought it would be like. This year was really loaded wasn't it. Have a summer in your kitchen making brownies some day. Maybe you will go on Long Summer Drives? Keep your head. Rick LaPham

Steve, Well its over isn't it? Member the time we laughed about security guard Swanson? and member when I wanted to scream? I still want to. You have been a great friend and I hope we will continue to be friends. Good luck always. Love, Judy Marshall

Steve - May the hearts of period 6 go on in the minds, bods, and souls of all that follow us. Remember the eye, the watch, and the mustache. History is the foundation on which to base our lives, history is the force that drives men onward. History is SCREWED. Gary Smith -70- shhhhh-sh-sh-sh

Steve, WE had a good time in "dirty half" of which we were a part. It was a good year and have a good summer. Richard (Belante)

Steve, It's been great in US History. Hope to have you a class next year. Jim (Morris)

Steve, This year in History was great only because you and Smith kept the jokes coming in. You really had some great lines. I hope we're in some classes next year. Also, I hope to see you at the beach and if I don't, next year for sure. Good luck always. Blair LaGrandeur

Steve - Although you were one of the quiet members of the (Dirty 1/2(, you were one of the best. Good luck next year and always. Dave Clapp

Steve: Maybe next year will be the year for you in tennis. All league, CIF, undefeated and all that, but don't let it get to your head. Good luck. Jeff

Steve - Have fun graphing in graphic arts next year. Its been a ball (sphere) knowing you this year. Catch you later, maybe at the beach, maybe at Lucky's. Dave Wyatt

Steve - Its been fun in "Parker's" class being in the Dirty Half with you and the 4 other guys. Have fun this summer. Good luck in the following years to come. Larry Miller

Steven, I will wish you good luck next year because I know you will need it. Even though my leaving this year will make you No. 1 (ha ha) you must still practice diligently and lead a clean life (ha ha). Your hero. Jeff Kaupke

Steve: I've enjoyed racing you to school every day. I wake up thinking about it. I think you make pretty good circles too. I didn't mind your copying off my tests. Ken Chinn

Steve, It was a lot of fun putting down Kurschat in History this year. After surviving 9 months of his "double whammy" I feel prepared for anything this summer. See you next year. Rex

Steve: Hi a been its, well lunch at gas real suppose, day every you see won't I summer until again ever fun have. School - , then until Skot Romaine

Well Steve, you lived through the torture of the "group" and came out mentally scarred for life. So keep your mind in the gutter with Skots. John Wallis, "Koz" and friends.

Your pal in wierdness. Julio Uguay

[Note: Mike Jones and Fred Klass decided to write their notes on the inside cover, which was completely unreadable. Who knows what they were trying to say.]
