High school yearbooks are THE permanent record of your popularity in the past - regardless of all those fond memories you may have developed and enhanced over the years.

I suggest each of you take the time to sit back, crack open the cover of one of your yearbooks, and start reading what people wrote. You will soon discover the truth about yourself.

I've taken the time - and it was quite enjoyable, actually - to transcribe the messages from my Imperial Junior High School and Sonora High School yearbooks. I share them with you below.

You will not find the "meaning of life". BUT I find it quite interesting that most of the traits that my friends and others noticed in me then, have become the strengths that I value most in myself today.  Those were truly formative years!

Well, maybe you might find the meaning of life after all.
