musical honor pin

During my accordion period, I received this pin for some apparent reason - my guess is that it was 1) either I attended 300 lessons, 2) was one of only three hundred people to get the pin or 3) completed 300 pages of accomplished accordion playing.

I'm leaning toward number 3.
