A few of the many pairs of glasses I've owned in my past.  You can see that I really don't experiment much - you either have the oversized aviators with a hint of tint, or the wire-frame, "damn, he looks intelligent - is he a professor?" look.

Some of the other photos in the junk drawer reveal my secret agent ray-ban periods; the half bone/half invisible plastic frames during my schizo times.

What is not shown are the only pair of contacts I tried in the late 80's...
