parents and pots

I think this photo was taken when my parents were dating.

They look too young and happy to be after my sister and I came along.

What is also interesting about this picture is that they are sitting around a bunch of, what are now considered, collectible flower pots.  Specifically, Bauer pottery.  As you may know, Sherry (aka Erma's Attic) buys and sells kitchen and garden collectibles.   She has helped me improve my ability to spot the stuff.   (Let's see, what do you think they might be worth on eBay?)
