I rarely wore sweaters with a zipper.   Usually, it was a v-neck sweater with a button-down collared shirt.

This particular fashion item was white, with a dramatic contrasting black and red strip around the zipper and collar.  There was also an accenting stripe at each wrist.

Note the sly smile?  Junior high was home to many a secret.
