me 'n my accordion

My oh my oh my.  Lawrence Welk and Myron Floren are turning over in their graves.  This cute little kid is me in third grade with my Contello accordion (which I still have in mint condition in the garage, if anyone is interested).  Had three switches that if you pushed all of them at the same time made a wheezing sound.   [Many years later, I discovered if you push all three of MY buttons, I would wheeze as well... but that's another story.]

The closest I got to rock'n'roll on the thing was playing from my Beatle songbook.  Not ONE girl  became woozy or threw panties at me when I squoze the box!
