service pins

Tokens representing my career with Fluor.

Each of the emeralds (yep, they're real emeralds) represents 5 years of service.  [Not shown is my 25 year pin, which has one diamond and three emeralds.]

The first two, with the fleur-de-lis design, have the Fluor logo on them - referred to affectionately as the "chicken foot".

The three in the middle have the redesigned "Fluor Daniel" brand, which was developed when Fluor and Daniel Construction merged in the 80's.

The pin on the bottom was given to all employees when we went back to being just "Fluor"  and rebranded the company.

If all goes well, the 30 year pin shows up in February, 2005.
