reunion button

Button handed out at the 20th Sonora High School reunion. The school was new and the class of '69 and '70 (mine) jointly celebrated the reunion. Hence the "'69" reference.

The picture is from the high school yearbook, and was quite a controversial issue with my parents when I brought home the proofs. If you notice the outrageous flip of hair over my left ear... go ahead - look closely. The parents wanted to have this airbrushed out because of the excessive length hairdo they felt I was sporting.

They eventually must have seen the light, and decided it was a trivial issue. By the way, this was NOT considered long hair by 99.9% of the other parents out there.

However, and you have to take my word on this one, the school refused to give me my gown because the hair was too long! Don't remember getting it cut, but I DID get the gown.
