ticket to ian hunter concert

Unless you came to this page immediately, you KNOW I'm a big fan of Ian Hunter.  When I found out he was playing locally in 1989, I immediately bought 2 tickets.

Sherry and I had our first date listening to Ian and polishing off a couple bottles of Zinfandel.  In fact, we commemorated the event three years later by getting married on the same day.  Yes, it was planned.

However memborable the occasion, it was not the last time I saw him in person.  He is continually touring the UK, toured the US with Ringo in the summer of 2001, and planning on touring Europe in the summer of 2002 - even connecting up with Mick Ralphs (you remember him from Mott the Hoople?).  Someday, he and the band will the left coast (Southern California).  I'll see you there when he does.

Oh, by the way.  Did I mention I finally met Ian in person in March, 2002.
